To Ignore or To Be Ignored!

"People, who ignore you, until it suits them to talk to you, are not worthy of your friendship or your time."

So I saw a meme on Facebook and both my friend and I decided this would be a great blog topic.

Have you ever become so annoyed with being ignored that you feel helpless at getting the conclusion/solution you need?

I will tackle relationships then family, friends/peers, then God.

But first starting with worthiness or worthlessness between you and the individual you are reaching out to. Notice I said individual, this part has nothing to do with God (separate entity, separate paragraph). As for everyone else the disrespect must stop. Do we need to go back to the Golden rule? Treat others how you want to be treated. I have already checked myself. We all have times when someone is reaching out to us and we refuse to respond.
There are a few sides to this story, ignoring definitely shows a level of dislike and carelessness. Sometimes it’s on purpose and other times it is not.

Relationships!

This game we play, at the beginning I will say when you experience someone real and ready. The game you crave me and I crave you and we‘re going to make it work. Crave means love in my blog, thanks! But when you are playing the game… You call, I’ll call; you text, ill text; like my picture, like your picture and so on the tit for tat baby step level. The big one, you’re busy, I’m busy too. Just know this game ends poorly, no one wins. An Infatuation or possible puppy love or you know you’re too grown for that, stage.

The reality of being ignored!

The individual has zero time for games, they only want to work on a business level (and you want more, they don’t or at the least, not at this point in their life), they felt betrayed or manipulated; they caught you in a lie. You name it there are a numerous of reasons you do not get responses or the ones you were looking for. Feel free to comment on a time any of this happened to you. The big one their priority does not include you and yes they were busy.

What you allow to happen to you happens rather sadly or gratefully.

Still in relationships, there are some really brave people that run things and can walk in a room and turn it upside down. Then there are people that cannot maneuver as great and don’t really have the interest to do so. Then there are persons who know when to be a leader and know when to take the back seat and then there are people who haven’t got a clue.

It is ultimately up to you how you deal with a person when entering a relationship, the best and worst get played, heart broken, loved fully and truthfully, learn lessons, repeat mistakes. But ultimately communication is what’s important. So when you ignore someone it that copping out? You know taking the easy way out? Or if you get ignored how badly does it hurt? Persons want attention.
Don’t base anything on technology, “my phone was tripping” or “I did reply”. Unless you know the person…technology will mess everything up.

Up NEXT Family!

When you are ignored by your family, circumstance plays a huge part, you all may not get along or people do not have time for the dramatics. They no longer want to gossip and if that is all you have to offer you need to find a new job (remember this is if you get ignored by family). Somebody did something, they don’t trust you like they used to or they cannot afford to assist you in your life at that current time so you will be on the ignore list. The great part about family, you see each other at a reunion and it’s like old times or the older generation won’t have it with the younger generation and you have to fix any and all disconnect within the family. I love when persons say at the end of the day family is what you got, it doesn't necessarily have to deal with blood.

Friends and peers!

A little lighter and simpler, if you are just peers no ownership, no involvement, feel free to ignore (on a need to basis only), no one owes anyone anything. But if you are friends or even best friends, put on gloves and/or take off earrings (lol that is a joke for all the loyal friendships)! But seriously you should not ignore your friends. Simple! Your friendship if done healthy is based on a kindness that’s mutual and your mission if you should choose it is to be there. Whatever that may mean, not saying there won’t be fall outs of extended periods of time you may not speak to each other, but friendships are work and if they are worth it, you won’t ignore a buddy.

So with that, if someone is ignoring you, let it go.

Here we go! Last but surely not least God!

Because I won’t do what God would say about you and His relationship justice, I pray that God shows you who He is in your life. I pray He comforts you during a time when you feel alone or lonely because in actuality you won’t ever be alone. I appreciate the saying, “the teacher is quiet while students are taking a test”, but I also understand that God is always speaking. So work with that for now.

People are people, we have our lives to protect, no worries right? We ignore each other, annoy and use, disturb and are rude to one another. Are we born with these or taught? Cheers!

Be Knowledgeable and Aware!

We all can be very childish but the goal is to grow. Moving towards maturity and keeping in mind that there is a place and time for everything.

Boys/Girls to Women/Men and our tricks! Don't be sorry, be careful! Who said that?

The persons we choose to connect with are a reflection of ourselves. You want to know you? Look at who you talk to.

If you lay with someone you will gain more than a few "spending time together" characteristics. Mannerism and issues that the other person has not dealt with becomes your problems, internally and on a spiritual level. You become soul-like connected.

So if you are this confident Miss/Mr. Independent and you sleep with someone insecure with low self esteem or has an anger issue, what do you think will become a part of you?

This is for the grown and mature.

You find  yourself waking up and nit picking at little things and even nagging and you have never done that before. Watch it!
You become angry out of nowhere or disliking something about yourself that you always loved. Be careful!

You slowly find yourself acting out of character or attracting some interesting people towards you. What is done in the dark always comes to light. History shows us that time and time again.

If you attract a loser then what are you? A loser attractor? Umm...No. (People aim too high at times and they either fumble or rise to the occasion if given a chance, that is a big 'if'.) You saw the movie "Love Don't Cost A Thing"!

If you accept/allow someone to get close to you and they are not where they need or want to be then you are looking at a possible dead end or a longer than expected season of tough times. People that are unstable and/or unsure in life get upset with everyone around them.

Seriously. Think about it! For an example... When your parents are unsure who broke the lamp in the den, everyone in the house is in trouble, even those who weren't present at the time of the incident. No one wants to tell the truth and snitch/confess what happened and/or come up with a way to fix the problem. So everyone remain silent and suffer the consequence with the other siblings.

You understand, right? You feel me? You read between the lines?

Obviously if you are the only child then maybe you and your cousins were in trouble together. A little secret, it's usually the middle child or the youngest who did it. I'm just saying.
A Pastor said it best, "there are too many 40+ year olds acting like they are 13" when it comes to foundational love and building life.

Woman and Men know when someone is on our level. We know when they are below it and above it.

This skill comes with maturity and analyzing the other person. Someone has to either rise to the level of expectation, or walk away because you two are not compatible.

Catching yourself before you fall for simple people/basic persons (basic is the new negative or what not to be, currently) is tough for many.

As I mentioned in a previous blog "Not Mapping Out Life", we crave to be craved, so connecting is human nature. Dodging Bullets is what it comes down to. Not actual bullets but negative persons that are shallow and have nothing to offer at that particular time in their life.

Give up on people? No. Understand where they are in their life and refuse to participate in foolishness? Yes!

 Additions to keep in mind:
-If someone show you who they are believe them. Medea said it... Tyler Perry!
-You know when someone's motives do not support you in a healthy manner.
Tricks... I want people to comment on the crazy things people have said over the years...Relationships are something else.

The goal is to not be fooled! Cheers! What did you get out of this one?

FB Question/Inquiry: Not Mapping Out Life

FB Question/Inquiry: Not having things mapped out in Life…and that’s OK.

Harmuny’s World Answer:

Mapping out our life is a great way to stay connected to and focused on the ultimate goals we would like to accomplish in Life. Vision Boards, photos, writings, and other things that visually show us what we want out of life is healthy for guidance. Be it that Life is bigger than we can imagine, we are challenged to live selflessly in pretty much all that we do.

Leaving a legacy for generations of your family as well as others in the world, a few big names may come to mind. The everyday survival on earth is a challenge for all with obstacles that come and go. To individualize this topic, I understand, mentioned by Sex and the City cast not sure which one said it but they mentioned the twenties are an area of exploration. Obviously that stuck with me because that was said a few years back. But at any age you can be lost. Food for thought: “What you believe happens.”

Moving forward... Having supportive family and friends during a time of ‘where do I belong’ is important. I heard the saying: “Write a plan and give it to God so He can erase it.” That can be seen more than one way. 1. Your plan could be vague so God fill in those transitions. 2. You don’t believe the things you wrote so you have zero intention of accomplishing what you claim to set out to do. 3. You write a thorough plan and God sees where you want to go and it lines up NOWHERE to where He needs you to be (your plan may have been selfish). I can keep this going…
I love to share with others, “We are here to tell someone else’s story/message”. Have you seen the movie Sucker Punch? If not, I would encourage you to watch, I think it is an 18 and older film,  so look into it before sitting with youth to watch it. Then you will understand this paragraph.

What is a journey?
An act of traveling from one place to another
What is a destination?
The place to which someone or something is going or being sent
What is the right path to get to your destination?
You may or may not know this answer right away, guidance always come on time.
What is a map?
No kidding I chose Google to define this and it has: a person’s face.
But to be politically correct: A diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, roads, etc.

This is some great stuff here, but to tie a nice bow around this gathered information. Every last one of us are completely and uniquely created to do unique activities and have unique accomplishments and face unique trials/failures. How something affects or effects one person it will be similar to some but not exactly the same.

Tragedy, Love, Work Ethic, Eating, Entertainments are all reacted to differently, similar but not the same, think finger prints even go to DNA. Each of our make-up is different!
So I assure you our paths will echo that, how we see life will assimilate that and our trials will shape that.

Not knowing what you need to do or where you are going is totally fine. Don’t celebrate just yet, sitting doing nothing that is exactly where you are going, nowhere.
It is not okay to watch other’s lives and think you are going somewhere if you or someone before you has not made sacrifices to get you or them there.
People that are somewhere worked, if not them, then someone.

This is not a case of being grateful or ungrateful, it is about starting somewhere and ending up somewhere better than you were before you started and helping others along the way.
I could stop here but there is more…

Life has a way of bringing you back where you started. What I like to do is look at what I have done/been through, accomplished, failed at, and what I care about. I start there; my story will not be like yours. We all have a story also known as our journey. Some stories are longer than others.

You use what you have to get what you want has been used in many ways. I want to use it as you are wonderfully and uniquely made, start today on your homework to discover your cares and where you belong and where you want to go. It will take spending time with ourselves; some of us with all this technology cannot stand to be alone let alone with ourselves. But try it and see. Being stuck or lost is not all that people credit it to be.

Below are Bible verses to assist in your Journey. So far on my journey my favorite verse has been Joshua 1:9. You must look that one up yourself, it’s so worth it! J Cheers

Habakkuk 2:2
He Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.

Proverbs 3:5&6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

James 1:8
A double Minded Man is unstable in all his ways.

P.S. I did not get dressed up to write this!

FB Question: Keeping Your Guard Up

Question from FB:

Why do women keep their guard up for so long and pull away when men start to catch feelings?

Harmuny's World Answer:

Every case is different. People don't want to take the risk of being hurt. You hear life is pain, but there is a balance to everything. She may have baggage that she doesn't trust you with, so before the guy gets too comfortable she pulls away. We all tend to overlook venerability when it comes down to relationships. Think about it, if the ultimate goal of talking to someone isn't marriage then what are you all doing, wasting time?

A. Keeping the Guard up
When you let someone in your life, a lot happens. Have you heard what you do affects everyone else around you? Rather positive or negative, things change. It is vital that some type of guard is kept up because we don't want a lot of broken people walking around. I don't want to get too deep in section A, but humans are fickle, we all look to fill a void that we think is in someone else. Agree? Breaking that down: we crave to be craved.

B. Baggage
Over time in each of our lives we have certain things that cling to us or we cling to. A home, parents, vehicle(s) siblings, other family members, a boat, debt, previous relationship(s) that didn't work, memories, childhood, there could be numerous of things people are captured by. We are either running from something or to something at one time or another. Possibly children from a previous something and now you have to find someone who you trust to protect and appreciate them as well as you. When we decide to talk to someone we sign up to help unpack things seen and unseen. We all have baggage. That is why being mature when getting involved with anyone is important. We all are at different stages in life and those who find an equal are blessed.

C. Catching Feelings
I chose to sum up this "catching feelings" as having an attraction, I won't name a specific attraction because as you read this you will apply your own and yes there are a few. The key word here is "feelings". We are emotional and to not get all scientific we end up on an emotional roller coaster when it comes down to relationships. Attraction is a gift; it can be related to confidence which is something that must be worn well. So this catching feeling, I hear is getting to know someone surface based. At the beginning people naturally do the crazy check, Making sure the person is sane first and then what issues they are currently facing, then the attraction may go a little deeper once you get past the associate stage. Liking someone and claiming someone is totally different. THE GAME! It can be annoying the whole thing of be the player or get played. But that is a youthful (as in immature) topic and one I won't cover in this blog.

D. Getting Comfortable
Allowing someone in is like the fight of life, for some. Once on a steady something, whatever people call it these days getting comfortable can be a task or smooth sailing. You meet family, you meet friends, you share secrets, you share struggles, and you still may only be scratching the surface. You look into spirituality or how you plan to build family morals and values play a huge part in getting comfortable. You take advice from each other and you look to each other to have answers the other may or may not have. This is an area to grow together where you also discover who and what you are becoming rather positive or negative. The saying show me who your friends are and I'll show you who you are. You are friends in the getting comfortable stage.

E. Trust
I chose to add trust in this topic because it is a make or break in the initial topic of why women run when there is an opportunity to settle. Side note: Men have commitment issues too. Maybe the individual woke up and realized before they got too deep where things were heading and they ran for the nearest exit. If you don't trust someone let it go (my opinion if you all are not married) (Married folk must seek God about their relationship as well as single, but your bond {married folk} is not in a position to walk away you have a lot more at stake). Touchy topic but trust these days is what each individual makes it. The bible says put your trust in God. From my personal experience, I pray, if someone I talk to act up, no worries, tough cookie!!! If I act up, I would hope the same. We all are a work in progress.

I will conclude there! There is a lot more I can cover on this topic
but I will hold off for now, let me know if I answered the question and kept it unbiased. Feel free to comment and share constructive criticism.

I could add a few Bible verses just to help put things into perspective or you can comment and share scripture.

Emotional Roller Coaster Cinco de Mayo

Right now if you feel very down and unaccomplished…understand that is the enemy harassing you from a distance.

The Bible states: I am more than a Conquer!

Your mind is all over the place and your attitude is tiresome and your heart is heavy… The chance you get to focus on someone or something other than yourself, take it!

If life was a bit smoother, because "easy" is definitely out of the question… Train yourself to maneuver through these rough and down times especially when everyone you usually speak with about your problems are of course, unavailable…

Psalms 39:5&6

You, indeed, have made my days short in length, and my life span as nothing in Your sight. Yes, every mortal man is only a vapor. Selah 6 “Certainly, man walks about like a mere shadow. Indeed, they frantically rush around in vain, gathering possessions without knowing who will get them.

Try to get a grip on life, as it attempt to slip away… Change your perspective and start to really love your life and appreciate your twenties or what ever age you are.  If you really sit back and think about life you probably would see patterns that are continuous.

You pray for stability and you become unstable.

You pray for rest and you become very busy.

You pray for peace and things that try to get up under your skin come along.

You pray for prosperity and you find yourself broke!

John 16:33
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.”

There must be a collective idea about turning these prayers around or maybe they are taking more time to manifest.

Peace can be needed more urgently than rest at times. Isn’t life funny?

If I go to the bible and read up on David and all his issues  before he became king. Like his many complaints and praises and worship medleys as a Psalmist we are not that different at all. (Go read 1st and 2nd Samuel great books to cast David and the book of Psalm of course.)

I am reminded that worship must step in…

I am reminded that David was sent about 400 men that were worse off than he was…

I am reminded that David turned to God when the enemy set him up…

When you definitely feel set up find a place to worship. Sometimes we really have to let go and let God.
Find a place of release, where are the passions of your heart? What are you good at?

I have often turned my frustrations into writing because I understand what comes out of me is from the heart (which is whatever you put in). You know the saying, “what goes in must come out!”

Our heart could be crying out "help, help, help…" But our spirit on the inside  is like, "What is your problem? Greater is He that is within than he that is in the world! Trust in the Lord with All your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all thy way acknowledge him and he will direct your path!"

Be bold and stand firmly on the Lords’ word because the Joy of the Lord is Our Strength! :)

Q/A: Time, Stress, Balance, and Encouragement!

My First set of Questions from Facebook!

1. How do you manage dealing with stress and making time for yourself?
2. Time management best tips?
3. What are the best ways to stay spiritually balanced?
4. How do you keep pushing through hard times?

5. Best place to go for encouragement?

I worship God! :) I work out and I redirect negative energy into positive energy. Allow the negative energy to disintegrate while you participate in extra-curricular activities. Working out or dancing which are my hobbies is how I release! Make sure you find that thing you are passionate about rather art or reading or sports.

You don't have to hold on to anything. There are words like "apology" and "forgiveness" that work wonders!

Use calendars and sit & relax and think about what I need to do. You must separate what you want from what you need. Save yourself from Bankruptcy! The idea of Bankruptcy in many areas of your life! You must take time out for yourself. The bible says operate with a clear thinking mind.

2 Timothy 4:5 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at bringing others to Christ. Complete the ministry God has given you.

The best way to stay spiritually balanced is to LITERALLY seek God FIRST! When you wake up in the morning the first thing you should do is either pray or look for the word of God. Join a Bible plan like with YouVersion has or other Bible organizations. It is to hold you accountable! If you miss days you must catch yourself up and in the process you will gain life lessons! Plus you get to read about great historical figures that many history books miss out on.

Make time for God!!! People say: People make time for what they want. Valentine's Day is this week and I have seen numerous statuses or insta posts about that! Truth is Truth!

What is important to you? Where are you spending your time? Who is receiving majority of your QT (quality time)?

Seeking God early, starts your day! You will feel refreshed leaving out of your front door. Spending time with God is the most important activity you can do. Turn the Christian/Gospel tunes up! Wake up praising God. You will become more aware and more prepared for your trials. God comes first point blank!

You keep pushing through hard times by giving all your worries to God. I want to explain how this is done but my explanation is long winded. So i'll say: Literally asking God to take control and becoming worry free and becoming unconcerned with the outcome. You must ask God for the Peace that surpasses all understanding!

Philippians 4:6 & 7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 7:24-27 Build on the Rock

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

What I love about this last scripture is regardless of who you are and who you serve and what you do or don't do there will be rain, floods, and wind. So clearly w/o God you will fall and with God "THE ROCK", THE CORNERSTONE" you Survive!

Last, But not least where to go for encouragement? The Bible and an individual who is where you are trying to go! A positive mentor.

Google is becoming so advanced that you can look up a bible scripture by simply typing Bible then typing exactly how you feel or what you need encouragement in. Ex: Bible verses about Faith

We have access to everything, because we are connected to the one who created it all!

Know your worth always and thank you for sending me these awesome questions. If you need me to expound on anything please let me know! Thank you so very much love you dearly! :)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE & Keep God 1st! :)

Personality, pleasing God Only!

Character is everything!
Galatians 1:10 (KJV)
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Be you, because everyone else it taken!!!

I can remember when I first arrived to New York City. I already looked and dressed differently. My "swag" or what have you, was not the norm in the neighborhood.

But what I can say I noticed! FAVOR! FAVOR! FAVOR!

It was like a feeling of knowing that God has set me up. I am not sure you know that feeling but to expound. It was like being treated like royalty. Everywhere I went people were offering me things on their expense. :) You are royalty by the way, but to actually be treated as such is another thing.

It was also like being the new person on a college campus. People are going to love you or hate you. When the different store owners saw me walking by or stopping in just to say hello, it looked like their day was made happier.

Mind you New York is not this vicious place that people make it out to be, there are really great neighborhoods and people that are so helpful. Just be careful/mindful of their motives!

I am not sharing this to show off. I am sharing this because of a sweet spirit God has given me within. The Holy spirit. Allowing your light to shine with just a smile. Using your time as valuable as it can be to stop and say hello means a lot to people.

Think of it like visiting a prisoner in jail, or surprising your child with a cupcake at school or receiving a random check in the mail or even just a gentle text to help you through your day.

You don't know how you affect people, that is why going with the flow, being attentive and remaining close to God is the best way of survival.

I keep hearing that being in your twenties is all about finding where you belong in the "Circle of Life", I saw The Lion King on Broadway recently, your identity can be found in Christ Jesus.

Back to your Character! I was taught to obtain the knowledge of the fruits of the spirit, study and aim to be like Christ the Savior.

Galatians 5:22,23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I tell you aiming to live with the fruits of the spirit has helped me understand family, friends, acquaintances, and myself.

Its like these 9 words withhold so much power I can actually say life is a bit more maneuverable. Even the bible says there are no laws against these. AWESOME!!!

The message bible says it well:

Galatians 5:22-24
22-23 But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
23-24 Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified.

No one is perfect! We are all a work in progress and we all fall short of the glory of God. BUT!
James 1:1-4 (KJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Starting today to make up in your mind to behave better than before and react wisely and work in decency and in order, your life will change. Taking the time out to breathe and seek God can fill up the very thing in you that has been missing.

1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
Let all things be done decently and in order.

The message Bible:
39-40 Three things, then, to sum this up: When you speak forth God’s truth, speak your heart out. Don’t tell people how they should or shouldn’t pray when they’re praying in tongues that you don’t understand. Be courteous and considerate in everything.

Everyone has a testimony. I share bits and pieces but if you know me and ask me I will definitely share with you. God has been so good to me I can not tell it all. So I just live my life as an individual understanding where my help comes from.

Psalms 121:1 (KJV)
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Always keep God first and He will cradled you in His loving arms. He holds tomorrow!

Lessons: Ouch!

So there are a plethora of topics that I want to discuss in this post but I am going to get through this one in particular.

Headache as I type. -____-

So I got into an altercation on this beautiful evening where it lead to me walking away twice.

Way out of Character for me because I am not one for drama. I like peace and joy and happiness. Rare but lately often dramatic people have been coming around me. Definitely taking me out of my comfort zone. You know the person that can not stay calm under pressure, the one that has a fight with someone then carry the anger around with them and lash out at everyone else, the one who is insecure, the one who don't know how to politely talk in a professional manner? Well that is not me but that definitely was an individual who blatantly disrespected me and called me out of my name, (It was racial, I won't share what he said!)

There is more to a story but the moral.

Lately God has been teaching me to operate in Love so I was thinking 'you know what, the persons words were so minute that they rolled off'. I was able to walk away from a situation that was heated. I don't have a temper or anything. I am a problem solver not maker.

All in all. I was thinking I passed the test on love but later it was brought to my attention that I failed the test of Pride.

Let that sit a bit. A lot of things could have happened. I didn't have to go back to the dude the second time. I did not have to say anything about the Facebook message.

I didn't know things would escalate the way they did but everything happens for a reason. Pride is tough to deal with.

This is a lesson many of us fail. :) Sadly! But

Keep living right it pays off now and it will continue in the end! Keep God 1st! Love You!I am determined to get it right. People take kindness for weakness which is detrimental on their part.

Which is why some people handle certain people a certain way. God does not like UGLY, I have been told over my years.

We must choose our battles. The bible does say vengeance is the Lord. So we need to aim to live like it and stay out of trouble.

Words can and do hurt. But you don't have to accept everything you are called!

"It is not what you are called, it is what you answer to!" -someone intelligent.

SN: The trouble Jesus was in was not his own. He died for you and me and freed us at the cross.

The Dead Lives & The "I AM" Speaks :)

So a lot has happened between August to November. I was not focused on writing because I was working and sleeping. A bit lazy, huh?

Well, during September the weather began to change and I was still figuring out the latter of the year which I stopped that and just focused on God. After being told that I was accepted into multiple projects which all got cancelled... smh My life took a turn then God became the center focus once again!

I heard a word!!!

I heard a word I would say around the beginning of October teaching about DEATH is a SEED! :)

Woah!!! Wait!!! TO die is to go through a cocoon stage???

Did you know a Caterpillar digests itself... Google it!!!

But back to the topic. The story I heard was about Lazarus... JOHN 11:11-44 PLEASE READ!!!

If you do not know who this man was then you are not living.

I am unsure if he was the first person to die and be brought back to life but HE DIED Completely. And came back to life because of Jesus our Savior.

I will post the notes in my notes section of this blog but you must hear me out!

The breath/air of life LEFT him. Talking about a second chance!!!

He and Jesus were friends!

Jesus was told that Lazarus had died and Jesus said a lot of things in this particular story in the bible but the very first thing he said is what matters the most!

The preacher mention a principle about "Firsts Words".

Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

Lazarus life gave God Glory. He was a living vessel for the body of Christ and God was able to use his life. Lazarus had an awesome reputation. He was well liked in the community. When you read that other people came to the house to mourn with Mary and Martha it shows that Lazarus had respect from friends and residents in their area. Great Guy!

Also, I found out that Mary was the same woman who cried tears on Jesus feet and wipe them with her hair. Seriously!!! Listen to Ce Ce Winans song called: ALABASTER BOX
Then read LUKE 7:36-50

Who are you? Who am I?

In a different sermon!!!

I heard something so profound!
At the burning bush with Moses, God said, "I AM, That I AM."
Why? because God knows who he is, we are the ARE NOT'S!!! We don't know who we are. God is the only "I AM"! WOW!!!
Read Exodus 3:13 when Moses is learning who God is and what his task was going to be, which we know of, getting the Israelite's free up out of Egypt! Read all of Exodus 3.

I have heard a lot of powerful preaching this Fall!!! There is more to come! I will continue to write and share.

I pray you have a church home and that God uses you mightily and that you will become a part of God's body that will be effective here on earth!

Jesus is LORD! God Is Good all the time! Become a worshiper!!!  Praise Saves!!! Find your quiet place and focus on the Kingdom of God read your Bible and get to know our Savior more and more. You must be a part of this movement. It is not too late! Love you and God Bless!!!

Met A Thirsty

When God is about to show you something there is this peace that comes suddenly, so you won't react
out of character or maybe it just happens to me!

So I was talking to God and I am like: ‘I am ready to date.' All I can do is laugh!

So out walking, I stop for no one so this guy catches my attention and I slow down I am thinking he
needs directions or something, he looked lost! Lol!

He asked me a question, but it was a conversation started and lame pick up basically!

I was taken back by him but in every relationship it's like what can you add to my situation. Think about it everyone is in a situation and depending when someone comes in your life it's the subconscious question or maybe conscious question: “Why have you walked in my life?” Short season, long season 2 day season or what have you!

Proverbs 14:8 The wisdom of the prudent [is] to understand his way: but the folly of fools [is] deceit.

Proverbs 16:16 How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be
chosen than silver!

Proverbs 24:7 Wisdom [is] too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

Anyway he wanted my number so I had him put his number in my notes section. Ladies you must let
some men know that they are optional. I usually don't do that but for this guy, something was smelly about
his spirit. He had a shiest-like smile, bamboozled type. I was like, I will think about giving him a chance.

Ladies we must know how valuable our time is. DO NOT continue to waste your time, Please!

So, I sped off to my meeting.

When I got home and got settled in, I remembered the dude from earlier. I text him through my google
voice! LADIES get a free extra number! For business! and for NO goods! smh!

I met some really great men and I have really great guy friends.

This dude definitely needed to lower his standards spiritually. I will tell you what he told me:

1. I own my own business in a nice neighborhood.

2. I am a young successful black man, I have a car, tell me about you.

3. I tell my friends they can't have sex with me, they would feel privileged.

4. Come to my house so I can cook you dinner tonight.

5. Give me a hug?

6. Why won't you hold my hand in public?

7. I go to church too, I am not telling you which one.

8. I have my bachelors, I am not in school, but I am going to get my masters.

9. You don't don't want to see me again?

10. I don't want to go to my bar on my day off.

He almost said this foolishness in that order! lol

Immediately red flags flying, flares on fire, written in the sand "No Go", a cloud in the sky spelled "Run"!
Maybe not all that but you get the picture!

Dude was thirsty!

He said these things when we met up. (Ladies ALWAYS meet in PUBLIC places!) Mind you we were
suppose to go get something to eat. He couldn't spot me on the crowded streets and he began to get
frustrated. Then he came up to me and was not the beat but I disregarded. Already in my mind I was
thinking this is the last time I will see him!

So he changed plans in that very spot on the sidewalk and was like, "Lets go to the shoe store, I need
some new shoes". I was disgusted. This dude is older than me too. So walked with him just to find out a
little more about him and those things above that was said to me. We only walked two blocks and I got
ghost!

LITERALLY! He kept walking straight through the crosswalk and I walked to the right into a store and
stayed in there until I knew he was gone! He began calling me, typical! I did not answer. I left the store and went home.

Girls, when you feel uncomfortable leave! DO NOT stick around. Nothing good will come of it!

Just when you tell God something silly its like the silliest things come! When I got home I was able to go grocery shopping and took care of my errands instead of some immature guy wasting my time. Hun life
keeps going even if you stop.

Don't miss a beat girls... Don't let unfit people take up your time! Don't fall for what someone is saying
out of their mouth. ACTIONS speak louder than Words! Even spiritually allow God to reveal the person’s
motive like he did for me. Praise God!

Who knows if the dude actually has what he said?! I was not sticking around to find out. His motive wasn't right and he was not connected spiritually because he would have known I was uncomfortable and would have done something about that. But since it was all selfish motives and pride nothing happened!

Especially not lunch! Thank God I ate before I met up with him.

Proverbs 3:5&6  <---- I live for this verse!
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH.

Girls and Guys we must stay close to God when dealing with people in general. Everyone is a gift to Somebody. But along the journey we don't have to drop our wall and allow everyone that take interest in us, come in and destroy what God is building! These flaw people are always lurking with selfish motives. Got to be more careful. It's a spiritual battle, remember that!

John 10:10
THE THIEF COMES NOT, BUT FOR TO STEAL, AND TO KILL, AND TO DESTROY:
(the other half of the is verse I love!)
I AM COME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE, AND THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE {IT} MORE ABUNDANTLY.

ALWAYS KEEP GOD FIRST LOVE YOU! JESUS IS REAL!

Death: Replacement

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

All right, touchy subject! I was originally going to make this post about how to deal with death. I have had people close to me pass away and the people left alive are the ones that must deal... So breifly, its ok to mourn it's okay to remember the happy times, it’s okay to sit and cry out of the blue as long as you are not making the death the center of your world. Death, I was told is beautiful, it can be hurtful, and disgusting and detrimental, but it can also be a relief.

Deuteronomy 24:16 (KJV)
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

The Bible mentions death throughout. Here a few scriptures I am familiar with:

Isaiah 57:1 (KJV)
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 (KJV)
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Psalm 30:11 (KJV)
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

These are referring to relieving a righteous person from evil, another is about timing, and still another is about rejoicing and being able to celebrate. Everything lines up regardless! We never know the cause unless God reveals it. If you ask the Father in heaven He will definitely let you know. :)

Revelation 20:14 (KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Imagine not being able to die?! Play if you want to. #Thatisall

Now on to one of the greatest deaths ever!!!
OUR SAVIOR JESUS Christ! I have heard this gospel preached multiple times and I can not get tired of it. I remember a pastor expounding on how wonderful and gracious and priceless it is to send your first born child to save your corrupted creation (instead of flooding us, Thank God for the Rainbow in the Sky)! There is an amazing "Love" (agape love) involved to allow your only begotten Son to go through the ridicule, the pain, and death threats and temptations of the world, and of the “enemy”, which is satan.

Genesis 9:14&15 (KJV)
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

I often heard growing up that it’s going to be you against the world and that's because it was like that for Jesus. I was also told, you must stand for something or you will fall for anything!

The baby Jesus to be Crucified on the cross, and Jesus to rise on the third day! Jesus’ story is told within the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The first four books of the New Testament. They each expound on different parts of the life of our Savior Jesus Christ. Take time to read them. :) It will shock you like it astounds me. This story is sacrificially mentioned in the Old Testament as well; so read the entire Bible. (I'm still working on that myself!)

1 John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

I don't know about you but over my life thus far I have heard: "Die to the Flesh"! It's like, What?! But it's saying don't yield to your flesh. Meaning, don't allow your flesh to make decisions. Ask God first, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.

We must daily drop our agendas and pick up Christ’s Cross and follow Him. The Fruits of the Spirit?!

Galatians 5:22 & 23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law

We are to aim to be like Christ walking in Love, being Joyful, living with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Being able to suffer for a cause, gentle, good stewards, walking and operating in faith,
being meek and able to control ourselves in every area i.e., habits, temper, eating, emotionally, etc...

Galations 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of
the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Romans 6:11
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

To die unto sin is to make up in your mind and heart that you are going to do things the right way. Anyone can be bad because we were born into sin! Not many can be good. Just being good will not get you to Heaven, you must be saved and have a relationship with Christ.

Psalms 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

It's a daily fight! We walk through temptation every day. Jesus is the truth! We must repent and forgive daily!

Back to death: Baptism! "A watery grave", having an outward showing for the repentance of the remission (relinquishment) of our sins!

Romans 6:4 (KJV)
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 4:5 (KJV)
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Great Bible reading about God's Saving Grace and leaving and returning:
The Prodigal Son Luke 15:11-31

Great Bible reading about a man who was raised from the dead:
Lazarus - Jesus said, "Come Forth"! John 11:1-46

Keep God at the forefront of your life and you can't go wrong. Jesus Died literally and Rose again in three days to save sinners like you and me. :)

But, You're Invited?

It's funny how God will bring you to wanting the basics! Tonight I cried a few times. You know how you
invite someone close to you to church and they say they are going then up to the point where it is time
to go a change of events happen. Funny how that works!

Luke 21:8 (KJV)
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Matthew 22:9 (KJV)
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
Hosea 9:17 (KJV)
My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
Well, I visited a different church for the first time, alone, which is nothing new and the entire sermon
was for my friend who I invited who was not in attendance. People know when God is tugging on them
to get their attention.

The service consisted of three powerful testimonies from three different walks of women in different
areas in their life.

I was crying because I could relate to them. Then after the testimonies, the pastor began preaching
regarding people that are lost and don't know they are lost.

He mentioned a fire truck pulling up to your house. You don't know you need the firemen services
because you don't know about the fire you are in. Meaning you are lost and don't know you are lost.
There is a Savior but what does that mean to someone who doesn't know they need saving.

Matthew 18:11 (KJV)
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Ezekiel 33:9 (KJV)
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Proverbs 4:27 (KJV)
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Isaiah 65:12 (KJV)
Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
I found myself sitting between a lady who kept looking at me out of her peripheral and an Asian lady
who claps off beat. You wonder why God allows certain things to happen.

Tears were falling throughout service and the Asian lady who kept clapping off beat during praise and
worship, when it was time to do alter call she wanted someone to go down with her, everyone else was
not understanding her, so I went down with her and she asked Jesus to come in her heart.

Now back at the seats, we lingered after service because she was telling me who she was. I was like Lord
why?!

I won't share too much but lets just say: Lord what do you have up your sleeve?

So I gave her my contact and she explained to me how she is writing a news letter regarding "spiritual
transformation". I was like, ‘nice’!!!

She shared with me that she wants to become more serious about God. Previous years she saw her old
self coming back and just this year she is deciding to live renewed and let her “old-self” completely die.

After we spoke I wanted to go and get prayer because our conversation made me check myself!

Mark 8:35 (KJV)
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
We tend to carry our past with us and allow it to make decisions for us. THE PAST IS ALWAYS FIGHTING TO STAY PRESENT! Just to make things clear.

After prayer I realized that I was dropping the ball somewhere and that I wanted more of God because
in his presence is where we find peace. When God shows you where you really are in Him and who you
really are, it doesn't feel or look good at times. It makes you want to drop everything and fall on your
face and just marvel at how good He is.
Psalm 44:6 (KJV)
For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Psalm 59:2 (KJV)
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
Distractions are everywhere and all the time. God knows what you can handle. When you get tired of
dealing with some things, you make your petition to Christ and fervently pray and God will move on
your behalf and make provisions.

Luke 22:40 (KJV)
And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
James 1:2 (KJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Timothy 6:9 (KJV)
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
You are free and I am free! WE are NOT our past!!! We have new mercies daily to walk in righteousness.
Daily we make decisions to appreciate our savior and choose to do things that are according to his will. If
you want to know where you are in Him he, if you ask, He will show you!
John 8:36 (KJV)
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Romans 8:2 (KJV)
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
John 8:32 (KJV)
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
